Comment: This bill gives the Federal Government unequaled power over the Internet and would do nothing to improve security.

No it doesn't. Read the bill. The Bill is 52 Pages in length (an easy read).
Nowhere in it does it give any power to anybody to take anything from anybody.

I have read the document quite few time, so lets take a look at this gem.
SEC 18: (2) may declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shutdown of Internet traffic to and from any compromised Federal Government or United States critical infrastructure information system or network;
What does "United States critical infrastructure information system" mean to you? Well it means to me that the Federal Government has not just unequaled power, but complete power over the internet.
So rather than going from blog to blog where you aimlessly paste your little comment upon the many blogs you troll across, maybe you should read the content of the blog and better yet, the information you purport to know.
And for the good many people that read this blog i would like to comment upon my second comment. I think we can all agree, except maybe the tyrannical fascists, called progressives today, that the federal government cannot improve internet security, only the private sector.
I would add that I can do better for my computer over the feds simply by using the appropriate software and necessary procedures to keep my computer safe.
Keep the Fed OUT of the Internet!
