Proposal To End Senate Appointments With Constitutional Amendment Gains Traction

Proposal To End Senate Appointments With Constitutional Amendment Gains Traction; AHN

More propaganda from the government friendly MSM:

A bill proposing to end gubernatorial appointments to vacant Senate seats with a Constitutional amendment is gaining traction in Congress. An unusual number of seats were left open after the presidential election last year, and the appointment to one of these is at the center of the federal probe surrounding impeached Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Lawmakers, members of the academe and advocacy groups testified in a hearing of joint House and Senate subcommittees on Wednesday about the the bill introduced by Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI), chair of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution. ...

Comment: The only places this is gaining traction is in the socialist circles of Senators Feingold and McCain and of course the MSM. I have seen nothing that remotely indicates this has any traction. The article is pure bunk.
