From the last paragraph:
...It appears that our senator is trying to be all things to all people as he seeks reelection for a seventh term to become a forty two year fixture of big government. What America needs in this time of unprecedented economic crisis is a public servant that stands the line on Midwestern conservative principles, not one who will flip flop on these principles and say anything to hold onto power.
Comment: In reality Lugar isn’t all things to all people. While it might seem that way from his actions he is one thing, a panderer for votes, who is one thing to special interest, their servant. If a US Senator was representative of their state their actions would be entirely different.
