And If We Couldn't See This Coming; Supercommittee Meeting Secretly

Supercommittee Meeting Secretly: Open Congress

The “public access and transparency” rules that the deficit supercommittee adopted when they first convened contain a major loophole. If they want to block the media and the public out of their meetings, all they have to do is vote to do so and they can operate in total secrecy. When I told my father about the Super Congress, he thought it was just another one of my conspiracy theories, but then I showed him the Wikipedia article and list of members (which fortunately for us includes our Senator Toomey), and he was shocked and compared it to the Soviet Union.

We anti-17th people discuss how the 17th seems to contradict the unrepealed Article V. When depriving "states" of equal suffrage in the Senate without their consent, does popular election count as "consent"?

And the true danger is the Bush/Obama pro-business-but-anti-free-market Supreme Court, where every ruling is a guaranteed partial implementation of a fascist state in America.

I agree and I would say to those living in PA, you got duped, as did I. I thought Toomey was the real deal, but he is fascist in free market wool.

Yep, remember that Toomey was in the Liberty Committee.

This also negates the media meme that the Tea Party has taken over the Republican Party; the truth is the RP has penetrated the TP, and unless the TP realizes this they will dissolve because that is the end state of the neo-con dominated RP.
