Comment: While the income tax is evil, we have to remember that it was the 17th Amendment that provided the vehicle for the 16th's exploitation. First the oligarchs made sure they had access to take our wages, then they needed the mechanism to spend it; and spend it they did. We'll never correct the wrong of the 16th Amendment until we repeal the 17th.
