U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) was recognized by the American Conservative Union (ACU) for his votes in the last session of the U.S. Senate. Graham voted the conservative position 92 percent of the time in 2010, and the group termed him an ‘ACU Conservative.’
ACU, the largest and strongest grassroots conservative organization, serves as the umbrella organization for conservatives in America. The ratings were released in conjunction with ACU’s annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington last weekend.
Comment: Lord help us if the likes of Senator Lindsey Graham amount for being a (big C) Conservative. No one is more supportive of the police state, big government, internationalism, interventionism, and unsound money, than is Graham. The late Senator Robert Taft must be rolling in his grave right now.
