Tom Woods' Call To Action

Emily Oneill interviews Tom Woods (via The Tenth Amendment Center):

The 17th Amendment removed the enforcement mechanism of the 10th Amendment. The best way to restore the 10th Amendment is to repeal the 17th.

That was a very good interview, however I would point out that without the rightful place of the states in the federal government any effort to energize the 10th amendment is fruitless. Nullification will only go so far. The states can’t spend their days going over every piece of draconian legislation that comes out of Congress (that was the role of US Senator prior to 1913). The only way the 10th is ever going to be renewed is for the repeal of the 17th Amendment.
