A Non-Connected, Non-Partisan, Single Issue Political Action Committee
I'm often asked if there is a group organized and dedicated to repeal the 17th Amendment. The "Restore Founder's Intent PAC" has recently been formed and looking for assistance and donations. Please consider the information on their site and the amount of help you can offer.
We support candidates and incumbents, State and Federal, regardless of political party, who will pledge to support and vote for Repeal of the 17th Amendment.

The PAC has several facets.
Perhaps the most important one is I have initiated the effort to bring the other PACs into it as a coalition in support of two objectives.
1. Repeal of ObamaCare and 2, Repeal of the 17th Amendment. If it happens as planned, we'll get rid of Obamacare early in 2012. If the second phase works properly enactment of an amendment by Congress to repeal the 17th could be a slam dunk in 2013.
We have some things working for us this time we never had before. One of our newly elected Governors is very enthusiastic about it and, in 2011 will start working on the other Governors to come aboard so they can draft the Repealing Amendment at their 2012 annual Conference. They all want it. They know they have to have it.
Ms. Susan Browne is going forward with the Institute for Constitutional Integrity to build a network of State PACs to back us up in working with the Legislatures.
