Democrat Senator Russ Feingold explains why his poll numbers are in the toilet. It’s Bush’s fault.

Democrat Senator Russ Feingold explains why his poll numbers are in the toilet. It’s Bush’s fault. I Hate The Media

This is too funny...

Poor Ed Schultz has turned into the mother lode of political comedy lately. Don’t get us wrong – it’s all unintentional, but that doesn’t make it any less hilarious.

Here’s a clip of Schultz interviewing embattled Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold, who comes up with an interesting theory as to why his poll numbers suck.

Schultz: Senator Russ Feingold joins us tonight here on the Ed Show. Senator, good to have you with us tonight. You know, you have been one of the most hard-working guys out there. You do over 70 town hall meetings a year. What are you hearing in Wisconsin? And why are you polling below 50%?

Feingold
: Well, this is a year of challenges because of the mess that was left us from the Bush years...

“It’s Bush’s fault,” Feingold said before leaving the Improv stage. “Thank you. Thank you very much. I’ll be here all week.”

: Congress abdicates it's Constitutional responsibility and oath everyday. It's always easy to blame the president, be it Bush, Clinton or Obama. But the truth of the matter is that Congress for the last 50 years, and I must add the American people, have turned our country into a second world nation. A second world nation where idiots like Ed Shultz can get on national radio and glorify the "greatness" of socialism, and statists like Russ Feingold can incrementally destroy the Bill of Rights.

Maybe the folks in Wisconsin are waking up, but it's going to take a lot more than just sending Feingold packing for a great and lucrative lobbying job on K Street. It's going to take a purging of the judicial system and federal bureaucracy, a huge reduction in the federal government, re-writing and eliminating a huge volume of laws and regulations, and inwhich no change will come unless the American people buck up and find their backbones needed to get this epic task accomplished.

I say it right in my banner at the top of the page, this country and our constitution can only be destroyed through "malevolent legislation." Unless we the people start taking control of the congress critters there will countless Russ Feingolds waiting in the wing for their chance to control your life through the hostile legislation they produce everyday.
