Constitution Day

Happy Constitution Day!

Comment: In my humble opinion, I say we scratch Labor Day and make Constitution Day a national holiday. What do you say?

Sounds like a great idea to me. What was more important: the labor unions giving us the 40-hour work week or the Founding Fathers establishing our current system of government?

Constitution Day and Flag Day would make great national holidays.

I wouldn't support the repeal of Labor Day as it is just as significant as Flag Day.

I would also support resurrecting the old Robert E. Lee Day (now Martin Luther King Day) and combining the two.

Actually, come to think of it, Labor Day probably holds the significance of Martin Luther King day, not Flag Day. Both Labor Day and Martin Luther King Day resulted in additional freedoms not found in the Constitution.
