As I recall, this rejection of the "Fairness Doctrine" was attached to another bill. Unfortunately, attached to the same bill, by a mostly party-line vote, was a resolution supporting local diversity in broadcasting or some such. Rush, it seems to me, could still get booted from some stations in the name of "diversity" and "localism."
